Peggi grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana in a family of 6 children; 5 girls and one brother. She majored in Secondary Education at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She and her husband of 28 years, Jim Merkey, have 4 wonderful children.

She has always been a huge part of self-made organizations, one of which she hosted large all night“Lock-ins” with several thousand kids. She completely organized many youth activities for 10 years at Six Flags Theme Parks where she hired some of the very same people who are now in her motivational and inspirational speaking organization!” She also worked for USA Fundraisers for 7 years and believes that these two jobs groomed her for the company she now runs. “I get to work with all the positive people inthe world! I respect the people who work with us because of their utmost integrity and talent. I love what I am doing and I am so grateful to have my job!”
